Okeechobee
bass fishing during this month of the year is usually very good.
The very hot weather of days in the high 90's however has slowed
down the fishing. Our morning sessions of fishing have been really
very good due to the cooling of the lake water overnight. Our
afternoon showers which have finally arrived are a big help to
turning on the fish during our evening session of fishing. Small
schooling bass are everywhere on the lake. Am experiencing a lot
of action from them playfully blasting our shiners out of the
water. Limits of bluegills are being caught by local fishermen
daily.|
