8 1/4 lb. Okeechobee charter fishing trophy bass

Al Brown (Golden, CO - e-mail: Asicmaster@aol.com) caught 15 bass up to 8 1/4 lbs. using shiners during 1 day of fishing (Feb. 13, 1998) on Florida's Lake Okeechobee with Captain Ron. All the bass caught including the trophy were released.

7 1/4 lb. Lake Okeechobee charter fishing trophy bass

Quincy & Carolyn Wang (Erie, PA - e-mail: QC9295@aol.com - e-mail: QCWang@pol.net) to 18 bass up to 7 1/4 lbs. Carolyn of course hooked and landed the 7 1/4 lb'er. All bass were caught off of the point of the reef along the pepper grass beds. Wild shiners were used to catch the fish. All fish were released except the 7 1/4 trophy that Quincy is having mounted.

6 1/4 lb. Lake Okeechobee charter fishing bass

Frank Blackmore (Plant City, FL - ph: 813-659-9563) and son Brian (Aurora, IL - e-mail: landman1@mw.sisna.com) fished 3 days (Feb. 4 - 6, 1998) and landed 35 bass up to 6 1/4 lbs. using wild shiners. Fish were caught on the North Shore.

6 1/4 lb Lake Okeechobee charter fishing bass

Darryl and wife Anita Bowers (Mobile, AL - ph: 334-633-2857) caught and released 25 bass up to 6 1/4 lbs. while shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee with Captain Ron (Ron's Guide Service). Anita caught the 6 1/4 lb'er. and a huge catfish that would of weighed at least 20 lbs! All fish were released.

10 lb. Lake Okeechobee charter fishing trophy bass

caught by Charlene Boston (Louisville, KY - home ph: 502-267-8760). This lunker which was released fell for a wild shiner. Charlene's husband Garland was in fact just as excited as his wife when she put this beauty in the boat. This couple who fished 3 days with us caught and released approximately 40 other bass.

9 lb. Lake Okeechobee charter fishing trophy bass

Lanny Ross Sr. (Ball Ground, GA - ph: 770-479-5300) and son Lanny "Chuck" Ross Jr. (Hopkins, SC - ph: 803-695-1380) caught approximately 60 bass up to 9 lbs. during 3 days of wild shiner fishing (Feb. 11 - 13, 1998) on Lake Okeechobee. All fish were released except the 9 lb'er which Lanny Sr. keep for mounting.

Mark Lundergan and his dad Loren (Corning, NY - home ph: 607-974-7409 - e-mail: LundergaML@corning.com) caught and released 45 bass up to 9 lbs. during 3 days Jan. 16 - 18, 1998) of wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee with Ron's Guide Service. Mark landed and released the 9 lb'er while his dad Loren landed and released a 6 lb'er.

9 lb. Lake Okeechobee charter fishing bass

Caught by Doug Walsh (Tampa, FL - ph: 813-962-1368 - e-mail: DJwalsh@gte.net). Doug's fishing buddy Pete Peterson (Tampa, FL - ph: 813-963-7383 - e-mail: FPeter1064@aol.com) helped land a good number of the 53 Lake Okeechobee largemouth bass they caught during three days of fishing with wild shiners. All bass were released except the 9 lb'er that is being mounted and several under 13 inches kept for eating. Captain Ron was their bass fishing guide.

Two Lake Okeechobee 6 lb'ers

Were caught by Charlie and his wife Theresa Hollan (Austin, IN - ph: 812-794-3894) were the biggest out of a 105 bass they caught during 3 days of wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee with Captain Ron. Charlie and 2 buddies, Elston Boldery (Austin, IN - ph: 812-794-2533) and Tim Boldery (Crothersville, IN - ph: 812-793-3380) on his first fishing trip with Captain Ron caught 70 bass up to 5 lbs. Bass on both trips were all released.

This Special Rate of only $180.00 is for 1 person and includes: 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 6 dozen shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

We require 2 persons on our Special Rate.

Required Deposit for 2 persons is $180.00

Third person 2 half day 1 night rate charge is $100.00 additional and includes 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 room for 3 persons for 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 2 dozen extra shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

Required Deposit for 3rd. person is $100.00
