8 1/4 lb. Okeechobee Trophy Bass

Al Brown (Golden, CO - e-mail: Asicmaster@aol.com) caught 15 bass up to 8 1/4 lbs. using shiners during 1 day of fishing (Feb. 13, 1998) on Florida's Lake Okeechobee with Captain Ron. All the bass caught including the trophy were released.

9 lb. Okeechobee Trophy Bass

Lanny Ross Sr. (Ball Ground, GA - ph: 770-479-5300) and son Lanny "Chuck" Ross Jr. (Hopkins, SC - ph: 803-695-1380) caught approximately 60 bass up to 9 lbs. during 3 days of wild shiner fishing (Feb. 11 - 13, 1998) on Lake Okeechobee. All fish were released except the 9 lb'er which Lanny Sr. keep for mounting.

10 lb. Lake Okeechobee Trophy Bass!

caught by Charlene Boston (Louisville, KY - home ph: 502-267-8760). This lunker which was released fell for a wild shiner. Charlene's husband Garland was in fact just as excited as his wife when she put this beauty in the boat. This couple who fished 3 days (Feb. 10 - 12, 1998) with us caught and released approximately 40 other bass.

9 lb. Lake Okeechobee Trophy Bass

Captain Ron guided (Feb. 9, 10, 11, 1998) a father and son team, Chris and Brendan Ivory (Holstville, NY - ph: 516-654-0525) to 29 bass up to 9 lbs. Although the fishing was very slow, Chris's son Brendan did manage to catch and released the 9 lb'er. We fished all over the to locate fish. In the end the Spoil Islands gave up the fish. My clients during the slow fishing periods were delighted in watching 4 otters playing around with each other along the weed line we were fishing. A 10 foot plus gator swimming close to the boat was also an added attraction they enjoyed and took pictures of.

6 1/4 lb. Okeechobee Trophy Bass
Frank Blackmore (Plant City, FL - ph: 813-659-9563) and son Brian (Aurora, IL - e-mail: landman1@mw.sisna.com) fished 3 days (Feb. 4 - 6, 1998) and landed 35 bass up to 6 1/4 lbs. using wild shiners. Fish were caught on the North Shore.

This Special Rate of only $180.00 is for 1 person and includes: 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 6 dozen shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

We require 2 persons on our Special Rate.

Required Deposit for 2 persons is $180.00

Third person 2 half day 1 night rate charge is $100.00 additional and includes 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 room for 3 persons for 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 2 dozen extra shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

Required Deposit for 3rd. person is $100.00
