DAD'S AND SON'S FLORIDA BASS FISHING TRIPS
There is no finer thrill to experience then
the expression on a youngster's face when they hook and land a
Florida bass. These kids have a way of going over all of the details
of how they caught that Florida bass that really makes it very
exciting to listen to. They somehow always seem to make the bass
a pound or more bigger each time they tell the story. In any event
there is no other lasting memory a father and son could ever experience
together that will always be talked about over the years during
all the family holiday get togethers.
Florida Bass
Fishing Dad's & Son's Report: 
that included a 8 lb. and a 7 lb'er during 2 half days of shiner
fishing with Ron's Guide Service on November 14 & 15, 2003.
Andrew's son Scott caught the 8 lb'er and the 7 lb'er. Bass were
caught in the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
Bass fishing
anglers grandfather Doug Hyde (Bradon, FL - ph: 813-651-1427 -
e-mail: doug.hyde@delta.com) and his 7 year-old grand son Derek
caught and released 16 bass up to 5 1/2 lbs during 2 half days of shiner fishing with
Ron's Guide Service on November 8 & 9, 2003. Bass were caught
in the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Bass fishing
anglers Steve Orgel (right) and his 12 year-old son Spencer caught

bass up to 3 1/2 lbs during 2 half days of shiner
and artificial plastic worm fishing with Cap'n Ron on July 6 &
7, 2003. Bass were caught mostly on plastic worm in the North
Shore area of Lake Okeechobee. Steve
Orgel and his 14 year-old son Spencer (Scarsdale, NY - ph: 914-723-4531
- e-mail: austernandpaul@msn.com) also combined a wild boar hunt on the afternoon
of July 7th. They each bagged a wild hog in the
sugar cane fields of Lakeport.

anglers Dave Wilson and his 14 year-old son Dave (Secane,
PA - ph: 610-522-1279 - e-mail: dwilso3112@aol.com) caught and released 98 bass up
to 3 3/4 lbs
(left) during 3 days of shiner and artificial plastic worm fishing
with Cap'n Ron on June 24, 25, 26, 2003. Dave also caught a 3
1/2 lb'er (right). Bass were caught mostly on plastic worm in
the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

anglers Tom Snyder, his wife and nephew Bryant (Mount
Holly, NJ - ph: 609-265-8756 - e-mail: tlsnyder3@comcast.net)
caught and released 68 bass up
to 4 1/4 lbs
during 2 days of shiner and artificial plastic worm fishing with
Cap'n Ron on June 23rd. and Captain Bob on June 24th., 2003. Tom's
8 year-old nephew Bryant caught about 30 of the 68 bass landed.
Bass were caught mostly on plastic worm in the North Shore area
of Lake Okeechobee.
