Honeymooners Bass Fishing Reports

I have put together a collection of Lake Okeechobee honeymoon fishing reports, pictures and other information about honeymoon couples who have Florida trophy bass fished with Ron's Guide Service during their honeymoon.



Florida Bass Fishing 8 & 7 1/2 lb. Florida Trophy Bass
Florida Bass Fishing Trip December 5 & 6, 1997

8 and lb. Okeechobee trophy bass. Guided a honeymoon couple for 2 days (Dec. 5th. & 6th. 1997) of wild shiner fishing on lake Okeechobee. Dave Simpson and his wife Lisa (Marshall, VA - home ph: 540-364-4546) caught only 11 bass fishing due to a cold front that slowed down the fishing. To compensate for the poor fishing Lisa did however hook and land a 7 1/2 lb'er. Her husband Dave also hooked and landed a 8 lb'er. Lisa also had on another "big" bass that threw the hook. We fished the Monkey Box and Moonshine Bay. All the fish were caught using shiners.

Florida Bass Fishing 10 & 7 lb. Florida Trophy Bass

10 and 7 lb. Lake Okeechobee trophy bass caught by Dan Leclerc (Lowell, MA - ph: 508-453-4351) was the biggest of the 60 plus bass that Dan and his wife Tammy caught and released during 3 days of shiner fishing (July 1997) with Captain Ron. Tammy caught and released the 7 lb'er which was the first bass to be caught during their trip.

8 1/2 lb. Okeechobee trophy bass caught by Angie Rojas (Reno, NV - ph: 702-324-6220). Angie and hubby Jorge caught about 50 bass during 3 days of wild shiner fishing June 1997) with Captain Ron. This honeymoon couple released all the fish caught.

Florida Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing
Year-Round Special Rate

This Special Rate of only $180.00 is for 1 person and includes: 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 6 dozen shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

We require 2 persons on our Special Rate.

Required Deposit for 2 persons is $180.00

Third person 2 half day 1 night rate charge is $100.00 additional and includes 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 room for 3 persons for 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 2 dozen extra shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

Required Deposit for 3rd. person is $100.00
