as the "south zone" and Highlands and Okeechobee County
which are classified in the Florida hunting regulations handbook
as the "south & central zones". These areas are
considered to be the finest zones in Florida for hunting the
osceola
turkey, alligator, whitetail deer and wild boar.
Our hunting land is south and north of state road 70. State road
70 divides the south and central zones. North of 70 is the central
zone. South of 70 is the south zone. The red star notes the areas
we hunt which are west of the Kissimmee River wild life management
area, west of the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation and west
of the Fisheating Creek Wildlife Refuge area.
