The month of June is the
start of our Florida summer bass fishing. Florida Bass fishing
on Lake Okeechobee during June is at times so action packed that
one can not bait up a wild shiner fast enough to keep up with
the hits that come as fast as you cast it out. These bass which
run in the 1 - 3 lb. range are just about everywhere on the lake.
Topwater plugs and fly-rod fishing with popping bugs at this time
of the year is considered excellent.
