Florida
bass fishing for trophy bass using a Florida wild shiner during
the month of March produced some really exciting bass fishing.
The mild weather and a good spawn during March were the ideal
conditions needed for the excellent bass fishing this month yielded.
Large numbers of Florida bass as well as trophy size bass were
caught by guide parties on a consistent basis throughout the month.

bass that included three 6's and a 7 1/2 lb'er during 3 days (Mar. 30, 31 and Apr. 1, 1999)
of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Ken caught two
6 lb'ers while Brian put a 6 and a 7 1/2 lb'er in the boat. They
fished several areas (North Shore, Moonshine, Monkey Box) of Lake
Okeechobee. All bass were released.

included two 6's, a 7, 8 1/2 9 1/2 and a 10 1/4 lb'er during 3 days (Mar. 29 - 31, 1999) of wild
shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Charlie Vastch caught
the 10 1/4 lb'er which he released. Frank caught and released
the 6, 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 lb'er. Bass where caught in the North Shore,
