shiner fishing on July 5, 2005. They fished the Monkey Box area
of Lake Okeechobee. They also combined a wild boar hog hunt on
the afternoon of July 5th. with Ron's Guide Service.

The
entire day turned out just as I had hoped. I had young Jake along,
who'd never caught a bass and I was really hoping to get him on
some fish, which we did. Short boat rides and a lot of time fishing
is always a good thing too.
We took a 200 lb. boar in the afternoon. Although I think we both
got as much a kick out of watching the dogs and riding in the
swamp buggy as we did taking the boar. Smoked the hams and made
the rest into sausage when I got home, both were excellent.
Great day for a reasonable amount of money.
