FLORIDA BASS FISHING REFERENCES FROM: MINNESOTA

Florida bass fishing references from the state of Minnesota. I have put together a Lake Okeechobee bass fishing report of trophy bass caught using shiners by Minnesota residents. Their name, address, home phone number and e-mail address (if they have one) are also included so as to verify the contents and afford prospective clientele the opportunity to get first hand information from folks who have fished with our guide service.

FLORIDA WILD SHINER BASS FISHING REPORT:
MAY 4, 5, 6, 2001

Florida wild shiner trophy bass fishing anglers Gerry Foss (Columbia Heights, MN - ph: 763-572-1589 - e-mail: J25FOSS@aol.com) and Larry Magel (Blaine, MN - ph: 763-783-1289) caught and released 42 bass up to 5 1/2 lbs during 3 days (May 4, 5, 6, 2001) of wild shiner bass fishing with Cap'n Ron. Larry Magel last fished with Ron's Guide Service 11 years ago. I fished Sportsman Canal and the Point Of The Reef area out on Lake Okeechobee.

Doug Headquist (mound, MN - ph: 612-472-1442 - e-mail: rmenard1@isd.net) and Judy Sivula (Blaine, MN - ph: 612-755-6034) caught 23 bass up to 7 1/4 lbs. during 2 half days (Nov. 26, 27, 1998) of wild shiner fishing with Ron’s Guide Service. Dick and Judy each caught and released a 6 1/2 lb'er. Judy caught the 7 1/4 lb'er. All bass were caught on the North Shore of Lake Okeechobee. All bass were released.

This Special Rate of only $180.00 is for 1 person and includes: 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 6 dozen shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

We require 2 persons on our Special Rate.

Required Deposit for 2 persons is $180.00

Third person 2 half day 1 night rate charge is $100.00 additional and includes 2 (four hour) half days of shiner bass fishing, 1 room for 3 persons for 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 2 dozen extra shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and all tackle.

Required Deposit for 3rd. person is $100.00
