I researched 10-15 guide services in state and out. This was by far the least expensive and turned out to be very good value. My son is on the USS Reagan and will be back home in a couple weeks. I plan to go hunting with him when he gets back using this same service.
I used a Remington 700 30-06 180 grain bullet. Stopped the hog dead in it’s tracks.
Next time I plan to use a 12 ga shotgun with a slugs.
I had the hog sighted in several times before I took my shot.
It was a blast.The hog tasted great too.

Jake Lett, age 14, was visiting Florida from West Virginia and killed his first hog while hunting with dogs on a hunt booked thru Ron's Guide Service. He enjoyed the excitement and experience a lot. Jake used a .30-30 to dispatch a big 225 pound sow after the dogs bayed it up following a swampbuggy pursuit. His father, Mike Lett and I went along as observers.
Jake says "Thanks for everything - it was pretty cool."
