Florida Hunting for Deer, Wild Boar and Turkey

Our Florida still hunting for deer (Florida whitetail), wild boar (Florida wild hog) and turkey (Florida osceola) is conducted on private land in Glades and Highlands county. The hunting area consists of several hundred acres which is surrounded by thousands of acres owned by other property land owners. The terrain on our land and the surrounding land around our land varies from palmetto thickets to oak trees and other hardwoods. Grass fields, cow pastures, ponds and marsh areas are scattered throughout the area.

HUNTING METHOD
Still hunting - sitting still which is the most successful way to hunt, stalking or doing both is the only method of deer hunting permitted on our hunting land.
We do not use dogs, provide a guide or clean any kills made.
A hunter may bring a portable stand if he likes. Because we are not a hunting preserve - each hunter may kill their legal limit of deer and as a bonus a hunter may take other game that is legal to take while they are deer hunting "without" any additional charges or trophy fees.
We do not guarantee a kill, that you will find game signs,
or that game will even be seen!

HUNTING WEAPONS
All center fire caliber rifles and handguns are permitted on our hunting land. Bow and arrow (35 pound draw), Muzzleloading gun (.40 caliber) and crossbows can also be used on our hunting land.

HUNTING HOURS
A day of deer hunting begins one-half hour before sunrise and ends one-half hour after sunset. A hunter has the option to hunt all or any part of that span of of hours during his reserved day of hunting. Unused hour are not applicable to any other day of hunting.

TRANSPORTATION TO HUNTING AREA
A hunting party will follow us in their vehicle to the hunting area. Private vehicle parking is permitted on our hunting land.

THINGS TO BRING
Standard hunting clothing and hunting gear. The wearing of hunter fluorescent-orange is not required on private land. Rain gear, bug spray, canteen of drinking water, snacks and a flash light.

All of above rates are for the fall 2005 - 2006 deer, wild boar and fall turkey hunting season dates for General Gun, Archery and Muzzleloading Gun as noted above by the Florida Game Commission.

Wild hogs may also be taken FREE in "any numbers" at no additional cost
during the deer hunting season by a deer hunter.

Turkey may also be taken FREE during their legal open season at no additional cost
during the deer hunting season by a deer hunter.

RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS

The required reservation deposit as listed above is to
be made by money order or online with a credit card.
Reservation deposits per each hunter or non-hunter are non-refundable.
Reservation date/s are final and can not be rescheduled.
There are no refunds due to poor weather conditions - bring rain gear and warm clothing.
Balance due is payable upon arrival by Cash or Money Order.
We do not accept credit cards or personal checks on the balance due.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION

A e-mail confirmation upon receipt of a party's reservation deposit will be sent confirming receipt of deposit. The e-mail confirmation will include date of reserved hunt, where to meet, time to meet, etc.
The total cost of the hunting trip and balance due upon arrival (minus the deposit) will also be listed to ensure that there are no additional hidden fees or charges whatsoever!!!
